Justine Miller is a Visiting Research Fellow at UNU-CRIS and Ghent University. She is working towards understanding the concept of the "Spaghetti bowl" of regional integration under the supervision of Samuel Standaert.
Justine Miller conducts research on international trade, including regional economic integration, and works with input-output tables to study trade and production networks. She completed her PhD at UNU-CRIS and Ghent University, focusing on quantifying the overlap between regional trade agreements, combining tools from econometrics and network analysis.
As a Visiting Research Fellow at UNU-CRIS, Justine works within the Economic and Political Interactions Cluster, conducting research on international trade. She has contributed to the RIKS and RIA databases and will continue to update them. She has also contributed to the SDG Monitor project, which measures the progress of Flemish municipalities towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
