Youth Mental Health & Well-Being in an Uncertain World
The report "Youth Mental Health & Well-Being in an Uncertain World," produced by UNU Global Health in collaboration with the United Nations Youth Office, calls for a shift from treating mental health as only an individual health issue to strengthening the ecosystems around young people — from education, decent work and housing to peace, digital spaces, climate, community, sports, arts, culture and spirituality.
At the heart of the report is the Youth Mental Health & Well-Being Ecosystem Model, a flexible framework to help governments and institutions identify gaps, connect action across sectors and develop approaches that respond to local realities.
