UNU and OECD Sign Memorandum of Understanding

Under the new agreement, UNU and OECD will collaborate on joint events, research activities and capacity-building.

On 26 March 2025, the United Nations University and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) signed a new memorandum of understanding (MoU).

The MoU aligns the two organizations' common objectives in substantive areas including energy transition, natural resources, artificial intelligence, taxation, and social policies, among others, with a focus on South-East Asia and the Indo-Pacific region.

UNU and OECD will operationalize the agreement through a diverse mix of activities including joint events and workshops, participation of experts in meetings, development of capacity-building activities in Paris and abroad, and collaborative studies and publications.
