On 23 December 2022 at 16:30 (JST), the UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) will host an online information session for prospective students, which will provide insights into the learning experiences, ongoing research, and other unique opportunities available to UNU-IAS students.
The event will explain eligibility requirements and the application process for the September 2023 intake. Current students will discuss reasons for choosing UNU-IAS, explain the research they have been conducting during their studies, and how it will contribute their career development.
UNU-IAS offers master’s and doctoral degree programmes focused on sustainability. The programmes aim to produce the policymakers and researchers of tomorrow who will be at the forefront of global efforts towards a more sustainable future.

Other Sessions
There will be two additional information sessions. Prospective students interested in FY2023–2024 admission are strongly encouraged to register to attend one of the sessions.
The second session will be held in-person on 13 January 2023 18:00–19:00 (JST) at UNU Headquarters in Tokyo. This session will be in Japanese only.
The third session will be held online on 19 January 2023 16:30–17:30 (JST). This session will be held in English and the content will be almost identical to the 23 December 2022 online session.
