Priyanka Sebastian is a Research Assistant at UNU-WIDER, working on the South Africa – Towards Inclusive Economic Development (SA-TIED) programme. Her work at the National Treasury Secure Data Facility includes reviewing researcher’s outputs to protect data confidentiality and supporting data extraction and documentation.
She is currently completing a master’s degree in Environmental and Energy Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research interests include climate change, environmental economics and energy poverty.
