Sonja Hahn-Tomer is an Executive & Liaison Officer specializing in international partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and institutional collaboration. She works at the intersection of science, policy, and practice, supporting strategic cooperation and sustainability initiatives while fostering global networks that advance sustainable development and climate resilience. 

Sonja Hahn-Tomer has extensive experience in international stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships, and institutional relations. Working within the United Nations University network, she supports high-level collaboration across academia, government, international organizations, and the private sector. Her work focuses on fostering interdisciplinary cooperation, advancing sustainability initiatives, and facilitating dialogue that connects research, policy, and practice.

Sonja is particularly committed to building impactful partnerships that contribute to advancing the Resource Nexus approach and sustainable development worldwide.
