Lamia Jaber is a Research Assistant at UNU Resource Nexus working on responsible electronics in the climate change era.
Lamia’s research focuses on applying Resource Nexus thinking to electronics, with emphasis on social, environmental, and economic dimensions across formal and informal value chains.
Lamia completed her MSc in Resource Efficiency at HafenCity University of Hamburg, Germany and Master in Sustainable Architectural and Urban Design from the Lebanese University, Lebanon. Prior to joining UNU-Resource Nexus, Lamia worked as a Research Assistant at Wuppertal Institute in the Circular Systems Research Unit.
She also worked as a Consultant at EcoConsulting, conducting Life Cycle Assessments, sustainability assessments and environmental strategy developments for large-scale developments and other projects.
