Brianna Hansen is a Research Assistant at UNU Resource Nexus working on responsible electronics in the climate change era. 

Brianna’s research focuses on applying the Resource Nexus Assessment to electronics through analyzing social, environmental, and economic impacts across the supply chain. 
Before joining UNU Resource Nexus, Brianna completed her MSc in Circular Economy from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden and the University of Graz, Austria, where she completed her thesis on measuring life cycle circularity and environmental impacts of lifetime management strategies for electric vehicle batteries. Simultaneously, she worked at the Technical University of Graz using stakeholder engagement to assess the sustainability of various hydrogen supply pathways. Back in the US, she worked for the National Laboratory of the Rockies, contributing to projects on circular economy of batteries, environmental and economic assessment of green steel manufacturing, and policy analysis for clean energy technology manufacturing.
