Nadia S. Ouedraogo is a Research Fellow at UNU-WIDER. She was formerly a researcher and teaching assistant at the Centre of Geopolitics for Energy and Raw Materials (CGEMP) of University Paris-Dauphine. Her research interests include energy poverty, energy efficiency and the development of renewables, financial and energy markets, the water-energy nexus, extractive industries and rent-seeking activities, climate change mitigation policies, sustainable development, inclusive green growth. Her works have appeared in Energy, Energy Economics, the Journal of Energy and Development and in The New Energy Crisis: Climate, Economics, and Geopolitics (London: Palgrave, 2013). She holds a PhD in energy and environment economics and natural resources management, and a Master’s degree in international and development economics from University Paris-Dauphine.
