Katyayini is a young climate enthusiast willing to contribute in the fields of climate change and disaster risk reduction.
She is enrolled as a Master's student at the United Nations University - Institute for Environmental Risks and Human Security in Bonn. Her graduate studies were in Geography with a minor in Sociology. Katyayini has also completed a Master's in Disaster Management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, India, specializing in Disaster Policy and Action. She is currently working with the VARMAP division (Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Management & Adaptive Planning Section) of UNU-EHS on the project -Transformative Climate Action using Participatory Data-driven Decision-making Platforms (T-CAP) as a student assistant.
