Abrams Mbu Enow Tagem is a research associate with UNU-WIDER.
He holds a PhD in economics and a Master’s degree in economic development and policy analysis, both from the University of Nottingham, UK. He is an empirical development economist, focusing on fiscal capacity and development aid and on the application of (panel) time-series methods. Prior to his appointment at UNU-WIDER he was a consultant at the World Bank’s Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment (MTI) Global Practice, with research and analytical interests in public finance and fiscal sustainability. And prior to the World Bank, he worked first as a research officer then as a consultant with the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in London.
