    On 22 January 2015, the United Nations Secretary-General designated a panel of seven experts to be the Advisory Group of Experts on the 2015 Review of the Peacebuilding Archicture. UNU-CPR was commissioned by the UN Peacebuilding Support Office to provide research input into the PBA review on issues critical to the UN’s role in post-conflict reconstruction.

    Nine papers were provided, three papers on the core issues related to peacebuilding: The Evolution of Peacebuilding, The Changing Terrain for Peacebuilding, Conceptual Issues in Peacebuilding; and 6 further papers on thematic issues relevant to peacebuilding and the UN: Financing for Peacebuilding, Inclusivity in Peace Processes, Peacebuilding and Institution building, Peacebuilding and Political Accompaniment, Regional dimensions of Peacebuilding and Peacebuilding and Service Delivery.

    Support and comments were also provided on the final report of the Advisory Group of Experts released 29 June 2015.
