“Globalization, Regionalization and Socio-Economic Inequality” (GRESI) is a project that studies (i) patterns of globalization, regionalization and their consequences, and (ii) responses to globalization, both from analytical and normative perspectives. The research priorities for the project are: (i) the quantitative analysis of globalization and regionalization processes, (ii) globalization, labor market and income inequality, (iii) Euro-African and intra-African migration, and (iv) inequality in global governance. The project is carried out by a network coordinated by the Universities of Antwerp and Ghent. The consortium further includes: UNU-CRIS (Belgium), the University of Leuven (Belgium), the University of Brussels (VUB), the University of Lille (France), and the University of Maastricht (The Netherlands).
