Project evaluated the 2016 humanitarian response to food security in drought-affected communities in Southern Zimbabwe. The response was implemented through cash cransfers delivered on mobile money payment systems. The project empirically determined the humanitarian and socioeconomic impact of the project, assessed the operational performance, relevance, appropriateness, value for money and cost-effecitiveness of the cash transfers. The evaluation also tracked the activities and outputs as set out in the log frame and recommended ways of improving the delivery model of similar humanitarian programmes in the future.
