CPR will deliver evidence-based, policy advice and recommendations to Germany ahead of and during its Security Council tenure. In Phase I (Sept-Dec 2018), CPR will deliver four briefing papers, setting out key issues for Germany ahead of its time on the Council. These will be based upon desk review, engagement with key stakeholders, and CPR’s recognized expertise in the fields of prevention, transitions, sanctions and humanitarian issues in conflict. CPR will travel to Berlin during Phase I to discuss these briefs and plan out Phase II deliverables. In Phase II (Jan-Dec 2019) CPR will deliver an in-depth report on Prevention in Non-Mission Settings, host a launch event of the report in New York, and provide Germany with 6 rapid-response briefs on issues to be agreed with Germany during Phase I. CPR will travel twice to Berlin for further briefings and consultations.
