Though we may not always be aware of it, we humans depend on biodiversity for our daily lives and well-being. A loss of biodiversity and or disruption of a well-functioning ecosystems can negatively impact human health and indirectly affect the economy, livelihoods, migration, and peace and stability.

This project seeks to inform the science policy–practice community of the human health consequences of altering the natural landscape. It seeks to further build the capacity of multiple actors to take appropriate actions related to these areas of interconnectedness between demographics, habitat and land use, and technological and natural climatic variables.
