2016•08•08 Online course
The University for Peace (UPEACE) and UNU Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) are now accepting applications for an online training course on Climate Change, International Law, and Human Security. This six-week online course, to be co-taught by experts from both institutions, will run from 7 September to 18 October 2016.
The course is intended for staff members of the United Nations and its agencies, other inter-governmental organisations, NGOs, and government agencies as well as academics, practitioners, and students who are working or conducting research in fields related to climate change and the environment, human rights, international law, development, and migration. It will look at linkages between the environment, development, and human rights, and examine how these linkages may assist efforts to protect both the environment and human rights.
The course is limited to 25 participants. To find out more, including information on the cost and how to apply, see the course announcement.
