The UNU International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) is now accepting applications for the Short Course on Health Impact Assessment in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The course will run from 3-14 July 2017.
The short course aims to introduce Health Impact Assessment (HIA) as a means to assist in the transformation that the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development seeks to achieve. This course will discuss links between selected environmental parameters (both natural and built) and human health. Major environmental challenges such as climate change, environmental pollution, and the state of ecosystems will be used to highlight the need for ecosystems approaches as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Applications are open until 30 April 2017.
