The UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) is now accepting applications for the 2020 ProSPER.Net Young Researchers’ School (YRS), to be held in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China, from 9–15 March 2020.
Hosted by Tsinghua University under the theme “Big Data on Earth System Science for Sustainable Development”, the 2020 YRS will provide participants with an understanding of the application and implementation of data on sustainability and earth system science, while developing their research and communication skills. Participants will have the opportunity to advance their knowledge in a range of areas, including the climate system, biogeochemistry, earth system observation and simulation technology, high performance computing, and global change economics, to better meet the challenges of global environmental change and sustainable development.
Applications are open to PhD and Masters students from ProSPER.Net member universities. Please note that applicants must obtain approval from their supervisors to apply.
