Based on a change in policy that now allows the UNU-ISP Master of Science in Sustainability, Development, and Peace programme to accommodate more students, the application deadline for September 2012 entry into the programme has been extended to 30 April 2012.
This programme, based at UNU Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, will provide students a unique opportunity to study at a global university within the framework of the United Nations while enhancing their understanding and ability to tackle today’s global challenges.
The UNU-ISP master’s degree programme addresses pressing global issues of sustainability, climate change, development, peacebuilding and human rights through an innovative, interdisciplinary approach that integrates the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. It is intended for recent graduates, professionals and practitioners wishing to develop an international career through employment in United Nations agencies, other international organizations, governments, civil society or the private sector.

A limited number of scholarships (covering tuition fees and living costs) are available for outstanding applicants from developing countries who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
