    Ruediger Kuehr, executive secretary of the United Nations University’s Solving the E-Waste Problem (StEP), recently spoke with TECHtonics’ journalist Aida Akl on the global e-scrap marketplace. According to Kuehr, 50 million tons of e-scrap are generated each year around the world and developing and transition countries end up becoming easy “dumping grounds.”
