    Biographical Statement

    Raimund Bleischwitz is Chair in Sustainable Global Resources at University College London (UCL) and Director of the UCL Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources (UCL BSEER). He is Co-Investigator in two UKRI Centres on the Circular Economy and member of DEFRA’s expert group on resource productivity. He has been a Principal Investigator of an international collaborative project on the circular economy in China (SINCERE). He was also the main editor of the Routledge Handbook of the Resource Nexus and lead author of a Resource Nexus perspective paper in Nature Sustainability. Raimund has published over 300 publications, worked in six countries, and has a background in economics.
