Dr. Marian Feist is a Senior Research Associate at UNU-EHS. He currently works with the German Advisory Council on Global Change to develop a major report on sustainability in the digital age.
Dr. Feist is a political scientist specializing in global environmental politics, international climate finance, and sustainable digitalization. His current research focuses on the dynamics of post-agreement negotiations. He has a special interest in the Green Climate Fund.
Prior to joining UNU, Dr. Feist held research positions at several academic institutions, most recently the German Development Institute. In addition to his research, he has taught courses on international political economy, and he has done consultancy work for both public and private sector organizations.
Dr. Feist holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics, where he was awarded a full scholarship from the Grantham Research Institute. He also has a degree in politics and economics.
