On 25–27 January 2016, the UNU International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) will organise an Urban Thinkers Campus in Kuching, Malaysia, in partnership with Think City

The Urban Thinkers Campus is an initiative of UN-Habitat conceived as an open space for critical exchange between urban actors who believe that urbanisation is an opportunity that can lead to positive urban transformations. It is also intended as a platform to build consensus between partners engaged in addressing urbanisation challenges and proposing solutions to re-imagine sustainable urban development in the interest of human health and well-being.

Partners supporting this event include the Alliance for Healthy Cities, International Society for Urban Health, International Union for Health Promotion and Education, ICSU Urban Health and Wellbeing programme, and World Federation of Academic Institutions for Global Health.

For more information, please visit the event page on the UNU-IIGH website.
