The importance of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is higher than ever, given the current and future situation of society with COVID-19. This international symposium is designed to discuss future directions for the research project Inclusive Research on Integrated Implementation Methodology towards Achieving SDGs. Interim outcomes will be shared with a wide range of stakeholders (academics, policymakers, and private sector and civil society representatives).
This research project, developed in 2018 as a joint partnership between UNU-IAS, NIES, the University of Tokyo, and Keio University, aims to assist stakeholders (particularly those in local governments and the private sector) in developing methodologies and planning for the implementation of actions towards achieving the SDGs.
The symposium will be held online, from 15:00 (JST) on 10 November, in both Japanese and English (simultaneous interpretation).
For more information, or to register to participate, see the event announcement on the UNU-AIS website.
