UNU has organized public seminars with the Shibuya City Office since 2003. The seminars are intended to provide opportunities for lifelong learning to the residents of Shibuya as well as those who work and study in the ward. This year’s seminars will be held on four consecutive Thursday evenings — July 5, 12, 19 and 26 —at UNU Headquarters.
Each session consists of introductory remarks by a staff member from the Shibuya City Office, a 60-minute lecture, and a 25-minute Q&A session.
Simultaneous English–Japanese interpretation will be provided only for the 19 July lecture; the other lectures will be presented in Japanese.
