The UNU-IIGH “Working Local, Thinking Global: Engaging Evidence in Policy Making towards the SDGs” seminar series aims to provide a forum for intellectual discussion about the work of the UN, and to create opportunities for bringing together various academics, researchers, and civil societies across Malaysia to meet and engage with their relevant counterparts in the UN system.

Mr Thomas Albrecht, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Kuala Lumpur since early 2019 and Regional Representative in Canberra from 2014 to 2018, will share his reflections on over thirty years of experience with UNHCR in working to protect refugees, internally displaced persons, and the stateless.

For more information, see the event announcement on the UNU-IIGH website.
