This UNU Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) event will examine the possibility of measuring community wellbeing as a measure of progress, integrating contextual concerns (relating to development and resource availabilities) and global objectives. This builds on work by UNU-IAS, UNEP, the Equator Initiative and the COMPAS network.

This is one of a series of UNU co-organized events that will take place in the context of the 11th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP11) in Hyderabad, India.
