Do you know about the United Nations University (UNU)? When was it built in Tokyo? What activities does it carry out? Who works there? To find out the answers to these questions and many more, you are invited to the UNU Library children’s summer event on Friday, 21 August 2015.
The UNU Library is organizing a fun-filled afternoon with a book reading, craft activities using recycled materials, a tour of the building — including the U Thant International Conference Hall — and an information session with staff and students who work and study at UNU.
This event will be held in English and Japanese. The programme is intended for children 6–12 years of age, but anyone interested is welcome to join. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
To register please contact the UNU Library via phone (03-5467-1359) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 19 August. You are requested to provide the following information: name, age of the child (for children under age 15), telephone number and email address.
