On 15 January 2019, the UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) in Tokyo will hold an open house to introduce prospective students to its Postgraduate Degree Programmes and discuss potential careers in the UN system.
In addition to providing an overview of the MSc and PhD degree programmes and UNU-IAS as a whole, the event will feature a special lecture on “Introduction to United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Career Development” by Mr Tetsuo Kondo, Director of the UNDP Representation Office in Tokyo. This will be followed by the opportunity to pose questions and meet current UNU-IAS students.
Both the informational session and lecture will be conducted in English. However, any questions are welcome to be asked in English or Japanese. For additional details or to register to attend, see the event announcement of the UNU-IAS website. The registration deadline is 10 January.
