On 6 August 2015, the UNU International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) is organising the Southeast Asia launch of the The Rockefeller Foundation-Lancet Commission on Planetary Health report: Safeguarding Human Health in the Anthropocene Epoch.
Chaired by Prof. Sir Andy Haines of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the Commission was formed to review the scientific basis for linking human health to the underlying integrity of Earth’s natural systems. The Commission report outlines actions that could safeguard both the health of future generations and the natural systems that sustain them in the face of pervasive and ongoing environmental change.
Continental breakfast will be served before the event starting from 8:30 a.m.
Advance registration is required. Please confirm your attendance by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
