On 20 February, Prof. Samir Amin will present a UNU-GCM guest lecture entitled “Globalization, Migration and Statelessness”.
Prof. Amin will explore the links between lumpen development — understood as social disintegration resulting from development as currently practised — and stateless migration.
This lecture is open to the public, but advance registration (by 14 February) is required. If you would like to attend, please send an email to Anna Franzil (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your name, surname, the name of your organization (if relevant) and your identity document number.
The principal language of the event will be English.
For more information, see the event announcement on the UNU-GCM website.
