  • DATE / TIME:
    2019•04•03    09:00 - 2019•04•05    17:00

A desired goal of governments around the world is to foster inclusion and equality — multidimensional concepts that encompass not only an economic perspective but also civic and political participation, cultural identity, social interaction, and interpersonal networks.

The 12th edition of the annual International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV2019) will explore how existing and emerging digital technologies can be effectively harnessed to foster inclusiveness, equality, and sustainability. It will also address the implications and costs associated with the use of such technologies.

The conference will  take place in Melbourne, Australia, from 3 to 5 April 2019. A pre-conference Doctoral Colloquium and workshops will be held on 2 April.

ICEGOV2019 is being organised by RMIT University and the UNU Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV), with UNESCO acting as a collaborator.
