UNU has organized public seminars with the Shibuya City Office since 2003. These seminars are intended to provide opportunities for lifelong learning to the residents of Shibuya as well as those who work and study in the ward.
This year’s seminars will be held on four Thursday evenings in July at UNU Headquarters.
Each session will consist of an introduction of the lecturer by a staff member from Shibuya Ward Office, a 45-minute lecture and a 35-minute Q&A period. The 7 July session will be presented in Japanese only.
The seminars are open to the public; registration is free, but seating is limited to about 100 people. For inquiries or applications, contact the Life-Long Learning Section, The Board of Education of Shibuya, Tokyo (tel: 03-3463-3049; www.city.shibuya.tokyo.jp/).
