The UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) is hosting the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Global Citizen’s Forum on 20–22 August 2014. The forum consists of two events, the National Conference on ESD Practical Models 2014 (on 20 August), and the Global Citizen’s Conference 2014 (on 21–22) August. To mark the closing of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD) and the organization of the World Conference on ESD in Nagoya and Okayama in 2014, this year’s conference aims to review the achievements of DESD and to further promote ESD-related activities in the post-2014 framework. The conference consists of panel discussions, roundtable sessions, and presentations by students.
