The interconnected world of the twenty-first century is uniquely situated to explore integrative and cooperative policies and institutional structures to meet the variety of challenges that confront the international community. These issues span a wide range of economic, political, social and cultural dimensions.
UNU-CRIS and the Comparative Interdisciplinary Studies Section of the International Studies Association (ISA) will co-organize a joint conference on “Co-operation, Integration and Alliances: Regional and Global Perspectives, Challenges and Solutions” in Bruges on 19-21 June 2013.
This conference proposes to engage in a discourse that analyses the magnitude of these challenges and suggests creative integrative responses through a cross-professional and cross-disciplinary approach.
Scholars, policymakers and interested professionals who would like to submit a paper, panel, or roundtable proposal should do so by 31 December 2012.
