Applications Open for Climate, Energy and Food Security Course

    The United Nations University, in collaboration with a network of universities in the Asia Pacific region, will offer a certificate course on Climate, Energy and Food Security commencing 27 September 2013.

    A total of 15 “once-a-week” class sessions will be conducted during 27 September 2013 to 24 January 2014. The classes will be hosted on the ground floor of the UNU Headquarter Building in Tokyo.

    Taught in English, the course brings together teaching faculty and students from the UNU, University of Hawaii, Keio University, the Asian Institute of Technology, the National University of Samoa and the University of the Ryukyus. The classrooms are connected real-time via video-conference and the collaborative student activities continue online via the UNU’s learning management system.

    This course is only offered by UNU to students or professionals who can commute to the UNU campus in Tokyo (i.e., who are living in the Tokyo area at the time of application). There are no fellowships, travel support, or assistance available for attending this course.
