Applications Open: Climate Change, Energy and Food Security Course

    The UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) is now inviting applications for a certificate course on Climate Change, Energy and Food Security. This 15-week semester based course will take place from 26 September 2014 to 23 January 2015.

    The course is taught as part of the UNU-IAS Masters in Sustainability but is also available for young professionals living in the Tokyo Metropolitan area. The teaching faculty draws from experts at the UNU as well as from a network of partner universities in the Asia Pacific Region including the University of Hawaii, Asian Institute of Technology, National University of Samoa, University of the Ryukyu’s and Waseda University.

    The classes take place each week on Friday from 13.00 to 15.00 hrs and connect real-time to classrooms at the partner universities via video conference.

    The deadline for applications is 19 September 2014.
