Biographical Statement

Yongfu Huang is a development economist at UNU-WIDER. He holds a PhD in Economics with research interests on climate change economics, macroeconomics and econometrics. Yongfu previously was a Tyndall Research Fellow at the Cambridge Centre for Climate Change Mitigation Research at the University of Cambridge. He is a lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in the 5th Assessment Report (AR5), Working Group III Chapter 16 on ‘Cross-cutting finance and investment issues’.
