Tim Koomson has over 15 years experience in corporate environmental governance, environmental finance and the use of market-based measures for environmental policy and decision making.  He worked for over 10 years in the private sector with corporate and institutional clients to design and implement investment strategies consistent with their investment objectives and environmental principles.

Prior to joining the UNU Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (UNU-INRA), Dr. Koomson was the Principal Consultant and co-founder of EcubeMetrix LLC where he assisted clients in investment analysis, due diligence and investment manager selection for their private equity investments in renewable energy and environmental markets.  Before co-founding EcubeMetrix LLC, he worked with Merrill Lynch as Investment Advisor and helped clients analyze, execute and monitor investment transactions in sustainable enterprise ventures and socially responsible investments. He also worked with the World Bank as a Consultant.

He has working knowledge of French, Norwegian, Swedish and Japanese.
