Biographical Statement

Théophile T. Azomahou is Full Professor of Development Economics at Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics (SBE) and Professorial Fellow at United Nations University (UNU-MERIT). Prior to joining UNU-MERIT in 2008, Théophile Azomahou was assistant and associate Professor of Economics and co-director of the Master courses in Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Strasbourg (France) and invited associate Professor of Economics at the University of Luxembourg. He also held the Chair in Econometrics at L’Ecole des Ponts ParisTech (ENPC, Paris). His main research area is development economics and econometrics.
