Biographical Statement

Surendra Sedhai is a fellow in the UNU International Institute for Software Technology (UNU-IIST) in Macau. He received a B.Eng. from the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, in 2005 and an M.Eng. from the Asian Institute of Technology in 2010. He worked as a Content Developer in OLENepal from 2007 to 2008. He worked for the deployment of OLPC laptop in rural area of Nepal. He worked at HimilayanTechies, a software company, from 2005 to 2007. His research interests are Information Retrieval, Text/Web Mining, Data Mining, Social Network Analysis and Machine Learning.
