Phattanapon Rhienmora is a postdoctoral fellow at the United Nations University International Institute for Software Technology (UNU-IIST). He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Kasetsart University in 2000 and worked in many business and government software projects afterwards. He continued his graduate studies at the Asian Institute of Technology where he obtained Master of Engineering and PhD degrees in Computer Science in 2012.
Phattanapon’s current research interests involve intelligent environment for medical training, and ICT for sustainable development. He received the Inventor Award from the National Research Council of Thailand and the Gold Medal on Computer Implemented Invention from the International Federation of Inventor Association (IFIA) together with Professor Peter Haddawy and Dr. Siriwan Suebnukarn. He is a member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Haptics and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
