Maike Schansker is a political scientist with a special focus on international relations and Africa. She has experience in the work with higher education institutions in East Africa and higher education development in Europe. She supports the UNU Vice Rectorate in Europe’s (UNU-ViE) capacity building activities concerning e-learning and the integration of e-learning into study programmes of African universities in particular. Her work field also involves organisational planning, conference support, research, the section’s web presence and international science policy dialogue on sustainability with South Africa.
