Dr. Colin Mayfield’s research interests include water microbiology, soil microbiology, groundwater systems, aquatic toxicology and integrated water resource management studies. He has authored or co-authored over 200 papers in those areas and has worked as a consultant for many governments, international and national agencies and various companies. He has taught many microbiology and IWRM courses; many of them were also given through Distance Learning programs at the University of Waterloo and the UNU Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH).
