    Biographical Statement

    Dr. Shengbo Chen joined UNU-IIST as a Postdoctoral Fellow in November 2011. Since then, he has been working with the rCOS project group lead by Dr. Zhiming Liu. Dr. Chen received a B.A. degree from Hubei University of Technology, Wuhan, China, in 1999, an M.A. degree and a Ph.D. degree from Shanghai University, Shanghai, China, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. His major was Computer Application Technology. After receiving his Ph.D., he worked as a teacher in the School of Computer Engineering and Science, Shanghai University.

    Dr. Chen’s interests include Software Modeling, Software Testing and Software Verification. In the past years, he has published more than 25 papers related to software testing and verification in international conferences and journals, such as: APSEC2008, TASE2010, TASE2011, Chinese Journal of Computers, Information Technology Journal, etc. He has received and hosted three project funds. And as a member, he participated in three items of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and one item of National High-Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program) of China.

    Dr. Chen is an advanced member of the CCF, and also a member of the ACM.
