UNU-CRIS celebrates its tenth anniversary on 10 and 11 September 2011 with an open day and guided public tours.
This year the UNU Institute on Comparative Regional Studies (UNU-CRIS) celebrates its 10th anniversary!
To commemorate the occasion, UNU-CRIS will open its doors to the public on 10 and 11 September 2011, as part of the Open Monuments Weekend, focused this year on the theme “conflict”.
Guided tours in Dutch will take place at UNU-CRIS in Bruges on Saturday, 10 September 2011, from 14.00 until 18.00 and on Sunday, 11 September, from 10.00 until 18.00.
Each guided tour will last about 35 minutes.
UNU-CRIS specializes in the processes and consequences of regional integration and cooperation. Over the past decade, the Institute has become an invaluable resource for the UN system, with particular links to the UN bodies dealing with regional integration. UNU-CRIS also works in partnership with initiatives and centres throughout the world that are concerned with issues of integration and cooperation.
