This year’s conference will be co-organized with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Nucleo Milenio INTELIS, the Universidad Adolfo Ibañez (UAI) and the Instituto Nacional de Propiedad Industrial (INAPI) of Chile.

    Topics covered will include:

    • Innovation strategies (internal and external acquisition of knowledge and technology), the role of collaborative links (local and global), and open innovation practices
    • Productivity effects of innovation: R&D and non-R&D innovation investments, collaborative R&D and non-R&D activities
    • Non-technological innovations –drivers, adoption, public policy, performance effects
