Dana C. Mount

Dana C. Mount is Assistant Professor in the Department of Languages & Letters at Cape Breton University working in the areas of World and Indigenous Literatures. She is completing her PhD dissertation at McMaster University in Canada, on the links between social and environmental justice in postcolonial literature. She is a graduate of the UNU-INWEH/McMaster ‘Water Without Borders’ graduate diploma program, where she was supervised by Dr. Alex Bielak and worked on the project described in the article. Dana brings a broadly interdisciplinary background to her work, having completed both a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Master of Arts in the School of Women’s Studies at York University.
