UNU-INWEH, together with UNU, IRA, INAT, ICARDA, CAREERI, ALRC, and GM provides a unique opportunity for masters students already enrolled in an institution to gain broader and more applicable experience, with a Masters of Science Degree on Integrated Drylands Management degree.
The MSc programme is designed to enhance the capacity of developing countries in managing their dryland resources, and is intended to provided young professionals and scientists with an international perspective on resource management approaches in drylands. Students will also be attending a 3-week intensive course hosted by ICARDA in Amman, Jordan from October 5 – 24, 2014.
It is anticipated that the graduates from the MSc programme will serve in government departments and agencies (e.g., those dealing with agriculture, forestry, natural resource management, and combating desertification), teaching positions in institutions of higher learning, research institutions and doctoral research programmes.
In order to be eligible to apply for this joint MSc programme, students must currently be enrolled in a master’s degree programme at one of the programme partners or associated institutes.
